Actor Trenton Rostedt plays the recurring role of Norton, a mercenary on the new Sons of Anarchy spinoff, FX’s Mayans M.C. He plays Deputy Dalton, a crooked cop on the upcoming Lovecraft Country series on HBO, and recently, the villainous terrorist, Brendan Mitchell, in an intense scene-stealing performance on the season finale of ABC's The Rookie. In 2018, he received a Screen Actors Guild nomination for Outstanding Action Performance by a Stunt Ensemble for his work on Westworld.
Born and raised in Austin, Texas, the great grandson of a 1920s era Hollywood starlet, Rostedt studied at the popular Zachary Scott Theater.
His drive led him to Los Angeles and around the world, where he has worked in film, television, and on national ad campaigns. One of his first acting roles was the part of a hippy farmer in director Brandon Dickerson’s musical drama, Sironia.
When he isn’t acting, Rostedt can be found wake-surfing on the lake or riding motorcycles. He is proud of realizing his childhood dreams of working in film and TV.
Additional television series credits include: True Blood, Revolution, Bones, CSI: NY, Grimm, Perception, Revenge, American Crime, Agents of S.H.I.E.D., Swamp Thing, Fear the Walking Dead, and Criminal Minds.
Rostedt’s feature credits include: Under the Western Sun, To Hell with a Bullet, The Starving Games, The Walking Deceased, Åll Nighter, Trial by Fire, and Beyond the Darkness.
