Anna Carvalho is a Luso-American, multilingual award-winning actress working internationally across film, television, and theatre. Known for portraying powerful, morally complex women, her performances are marked by intensity, precision, and emotional depth.

She began her screen career in Pedro Costa’s Venice-awarded Ossos before establishing an international presence across Europe and the United States, with over 100 credits to date, including Free Dead or Alive, Nova and Corrupt Crimes. On stage, she has appeared in productions such as Macbeth, Saint Joan, Frankenstein and Alita Experience.

She holds a Master’s degree in Acting & Performing Arts and a degree in Cinema and has trained in London, the United States, and Italy with leading industry coaches including Margie Haber and the Ivana Chubbuck Studio. She is certified in Stage Combat by the Society of American Fight Directors and brings strong physical discipline to her work, supported by her practice of Tukong Moosul.

She is a member of the Portuguese Film Academy and is SAG-Eligible.
