Jacqui Calloway
Jacqui is a SAG-AFTRA member and spent time acting in Los Angeles, where she appeared on Rosewood (FOX), The Inspectors (CBS), and as a series regular in the CW Seed's I Ship It. In Austin, she is a company member at The VORTEX, and has performed with New Manifest Theater, Jarrott Productions, Communication by Captivation, & Three Willows Theater. She is the winner of four B. Iden Payne Awards for Featured Performer in a Comedy (BLKS), Featured Performer in a Drama and Small Cast (Edit Annie), and Lead Performer in A Digital Production (The Frog Prince). She teaches at Texas State University in the Department of Theatre and Dance, and at The Actor's School in conjunction with Austin Community College. In her work with youth, Jacqui co-directs the Changing Lives Youth Theatre Ensemble, a group of teens who devise original plays to prevent teen interpersonal violence, and has been a Paramount Story Wranglers teaching artist and ensemble member. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Dartmouth College and has studied at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts, Anthony Meindl’s Actor Workshop, and the Relativity School. www.jacquicalloway.com.
